EVENT: Hip- House Royalty TYREE COOPER (Chicago) in Sydney

We’ve been waiting to announce this party for months. Its our first birthday and we’re so fucking excited to celebrate with all of you bloody legends who helped us start this whole thing! It also happens to be the most stoked we’ve ever been with an EK lineup!!

With a heavy-hitting House music forefather that hugely influenced what we do today, and one of our own local geniuses, we’re all in for an absolute cracker of a gig.

◉ TYREE COOPER
‘The Prince of Hip House,’ was at the forefront of the House revolution. His contribution to Hip House widened the appeal of House music, laid House as a template for a kaleidoscope of musical styles and brought the Urban vibe of Hip Hop firmly into the House.

Cooper is now regarded as one of the most influential artists in the international house scene. Already looking back to a respectable discography, Cooper founded his own label (Supa Dupa Recordings) in 2002.

Tyree Cooper is one of only a small handful of true legends in the history of House music.

◉ SIMON CALDWELL
We’ve been waiting to get this guy for way too long now. Simon Caldwell is Australian DJ royalty. Coming from years of spinning records at Sydney bars every other night, Caldwell has always been one to showcase an incredible musical variety… Literally everything from jazz to electro.

He also takes the reigns on FBi’s Sunsets programme on Monday nights, and has recently been jamming the Santa Barbara with a weekly 7 hour journey set on Saturday nights. Get down early to check out the hype!!

◉ Jeremiah & Still Moves
The brains (or lack thereof) behind the whole EK theory, these blokes will get you feeling warm and smooth from 10pm sharp. Jeremiah with his extremely animated facial expressions, and Still Moves (Hubert and the Geek), with just whatever is floating around at the time… We’ll see…

WHATEVER HAPPENS…
COME DANCE!
